This week's reading was done on a Tarot deck that I am getting to know- The Darkwood Tarot. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who the reading is for until it is posted. Read on and see if it's for you.
The reading begins with the Hierophant; a card of spiritual traditions. The Hierophant can be a teacher or guide-whether it is a person, plant, animal or tree. If this is your reading, you are in a time in your life when you want to understand sacred ways and traditions. You have books to read and ways to explore. You are looking for something, and have an interesting path to walk.
The IX of Pentacles appears next. You often do things alone, and feel the most comfortable that way. You are probably most happy when you can be alone with your plants, animals, and birds. You appreciate a lot of time to yourself, and you have an independent way about you. You don't necessarily let people get close to you easily, but you are always happy to meet an animal.
The Knight of Wands shows that you may have a hard time maintaining focus. You start up with a lot of energy, but like fire.. you run out of energy. Something new catches your interest, and then you forget what you were working on. You are better at starting projects than you are at completing them! There are so many things that interest you that it can be hard to focus on one thing at a time.
The key to the reading is the III of Cups. This is a card of friendship and companionship. You can do more with people than you can on your own. It doesn't have to be a lot of people; 2 or 3 is enough. Community would be helpful for you, and would help you to accomplish your goals.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have an interest and inclination towards spiritual ways and sacred teachings. You tend to work on your own, and you are happiest that way. You feel like you get more out of your spiritual practices when you can listen to the world around you- and people can be distracting. But the issue is that you have a hard time maintaining focus. You will start up with great energy.. and then get distracted and lose focus. The best thing that you can do is to connect with a like minded community of people. Having a plan would be helpful for you in keeping up with your practice and your interests. I would not say that you should stop doing things on your own- it looks like that is what works best for you. But you would benefit from a community that you can work with and talk to if you choose to.

This reading resonates with me as well. I find that it is on point and speaks of me perfectly.
This is completely me in a nutshell LOL! Every detail in this reading is totally on point for me right now. I sent you an invite on Facebook to a community event I just got together with the help of two friends and it coincides with everything in this reading. Super cool!!!
