This week's reading was done on a Tarot deck I hadn't seen in a while! Le Tarot Noir got buried under Tarot decks, and was unearthed this week when my husband reorganized some of my decks! It is a wonderfully moody deck, and perfect for the gloomy weather we have been having in Vermont! I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. This one is for a person that has really been spun around in their lives, and is finding their way back up. I never know who the reading is for until I post it- read on, see if it's for you! The reading begins with La Roue de Fortune (Wheel of Fortune). This is the card of the powers of Fate that can take your life and spin it around. If this is your reading, you are not quite sure which end is up anymore. Things have changed so rapidly that you just don't know what to expect next. There is a larger pattern to what you are experiencing, but in the moment, this card can make a person feel very spun around and shaken up. Still- you are not lost if you get this card. Even if you feel like you have no idea where you are going or what you are doing.
The X of Swords appears next. You have been going through a time of great challenge- and it is coming to a close. You may feel like you have been speared through with Swords. You are probably exhausted because you have been dealing with challenges for far too long. But, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. You should see a shifting of energy soon. You are probably afraid to move; wondering what will happen next.
La Force (Strength) appears next, showing the resilience that you have. You are a lot more powerful than you give yourself credit for. Sometimes, power is simply enduring a situation. You are very strong and you know how to use your power well. It is what has gotten you this far. The previous card can make a person feel like they are not strong at all. Yet all of these cards indicate a great deal of perseverance on your part.
The key to the week is the VII of Pentacles. It is time to start to build back up. You have seeds to plant for the future. With this reading, you may feel like you don't have control over anything. Still- you are moving forward quite successfully. This card shows you in a space where you are able to slow down a bit. You may even have time to get a little bit bored! But you will have more control over your future, and will be able to put your energy into accomplishing goals and not just getting through the day.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, things have been hard for a long time. Everything changed in your life, and you were totally spun from a place of comfort into a place of complete uncertainty. While it may be hard to believe, your troubles may be coming to a close sooner than you expect. You are moving forward into a different time. You have been feeling like you are not strong at all, but the cards are pointing out that it has taken you incredible strength to get through this time period. The storm passes- and you are still standing. Powerful, wise, and able to conquer any challenge sent your way. The key is to start planning for the future. Figure out what you are going to do next, and start putting some energy into making it all happen. Things are changing for the better. The Wheel is spinning, and you are no longer on the bottom.
