Hello to the friends of Iris X Readings! This week's reading was done on The Pulp Tarot by Todd Alcott. It is a powerful and enchanting deck that is meant to "guide your questing soul from darkness to light- If you Dare." I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who it is for until I post it. Read on, see if it's for you.
The reading begins with a Wand coming out of the cloud being handed to you. The Ace of Wands is an opportunity for you to work with. It is usually an idea or inspiration- something that seems to 'come out of nowhere'. It is an idea that will go well. If you take the Wand and run with it. You are being given the tool to manifest the things that you want right now. Take it and work with it. The idea will surely move on to someone else if you don't follow it and you will wonder - why didn't I manifest what I was thinking about?
The Knight of Cups comes up next, showing you moving forward with your Cup. You are sensitive to the feedback of others. While it is good to be flexible, remember- it is your idea that is the Ace in this reading. Sometimes a Knight of Cups will be completely shaped by the thoughts of others. You are worried that people won't like your idea. You started this reading with an Ace- follow your idea and stay the course. Don't lose focus or change your thoughts based on the input of others. Follow your intuition- it is where the Ace came from.
The Emperor shows that you have something that you can work with and build upon right now. You move to a place of leadership and organization with an eye on the future. You have the organizational skills to make your dreams manifest; and you are not afraid of working hard. It is time to step into the authority role in your life, and to count on yourself.
The key to this reading is the III of Wands. Nothing will happen if you don't put your idea out into the world. You have to take a deep breath, send it out- and see what the reaction is. It can be hard to do this when you have something that you have been keeping inside- but you can't succeed without taking a physical step forward and involving other people. You have to put it out there- and then, wait and see.
Here's what I see. You have something that you are considering doing and you haven't taken a step yet. You have walked away from other ideas and plans that you have had when other people don't think you would succeed. You have something that will really work here and help you to manifest the future that you want to have. But you have to ask for what you want. You have to put your thoughts out into the world and see how the larger public responds to them- but then, you have to be tough about it. Not everyone is going to love what you want to do- but some people will. Pay attention to the ones that are interested in your plans. If you keep it all to yourself, it will never grow. It is really hard to do this sometimes, but it is the path forward. You have an Ace. You will be successful if you move forward. It's not a time to remain still or to be dissuaded by people that don't think you can succeed. The cards say that you Absolutely can accomplish your goals. You just have to Move!
