Happy holidays to the friends of Iris X Readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who it will be for until I post it. This week's reading was done on The Murder of Crows Tarot by Corrado Roi. It is a fascinating deck focused on Crows. In the words of the creator of the deck, "Mystery of creation, Archetype of the trickster, Harbinger of transformation, the crow is all this and more." Read on and see if the Crows have something to say to you..
The reading begins with the 7 of Swords, showing something being taken from you. This is the card of the thief, and often represents something that happens behind your back. If this is your reading, the cards are letting you know that there is someone or something in your life that doesn't have your best interests at heart. There may be someone who is not being honest with you, and this is causing you harm. Pay attention to your surroundings and the people in your life. Make sure that you are not losing energy through your relationships or activities.
The 8 of Cups appears next showing you that there is something missing. Things are not quite adding up or coming together right. You need to spend some quiet time on your own so that you can think. There are times that you are the only one that can answer your questions. You have to figure something out on your own, and this may require a long walk alone. If there is something missing then you have to find the missing piece of the puzzle.
The 9 of Wands appears next, showing you fending off people in your life. Sometimes, you just need to be alone. You feel guarded right now. You are making sure that nothing gets taken from you. You have been hurt and you are exhausted. You feel like there are things that you need to figure out on your own right now, and you don't necessarily want anyone's help. Everything feels scattered, and you feel like you can't rest. You have to keep an eye on everything in your life. You know that something isn't right.
The key to this reading is The Magician. You have more power than you think and it's time to think outside of the box. Every card in this reading tells you that now is a good time to trust yourself. With the Magician, you decide what you want, and then you make it happen. There has been a lot coming at you lately, and some of it has not been in your best interest. Stand up for yourself and take actions to improve your situation. It's time to look out for yourself. If you are being tricked, the Crow would tell you to turn the tables around. The Magician is a master trickster.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have been feeling really guarded lately. Something isn't coming together and you feel like things don't make sense. You are not sure who you can trust and who you should stay away from. And the cards are telling you that you are correct- there is something in your life that at the very Least is not good for you. And it could be something that is deliberately causing you harm. You feel confused and like you don't know what to do. The only person who has the answer to your questions is you. Taking some space to listen to your own voice is important right now. It's possible that someone has been intentionally misleading you, and you need to listen to yourself. You have a lot of power right now, and perhaps that is why someone is trying to take it away from you. Take a break- and then be ready to act to do what you need to do.
Have a great week! I have a few limited appointments available this week. If you need a reading, send me a message at irisxtarot@gmail.com.
