I have always loved obscure Tarot decks. Salvatore Dali's Tarot is a favorite deck of mine. Beautiful and often bizarre, this deck has been with me for 15 years. In true Dali style, this deck breaks barriers. There is even a painted-on moustache on the Queen of Cups- quite scandalous for the time that the deck was created. It is a fun and beautiful deck, full of character. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. The message seems very clear this week. Read on- see if it's for you. 

The reading begins with the II of Wands. If this is your reading, you have been mentally planning something for a very long time. You have thought through scenarios, made lists and pondered plans. You have kept most of it to yourself; not really letting other people know what you are thinking. You have all of these dreams and ideas, and you have been looking into ways to make them happen. 

The IV of Wands appears next as the natural next step to take. If you put your ideas out into the world, you will be met with success. This is a card of celebration and the feeling that everything is going your way. It is a sign that you would find the exact people that your work is meant to attract. Your ideas have high probability to be successful. 

The IX of Earth shows you in a place of prosperity, able to do things your way. You are a bit of a quirky personality, and you like to work alone. You don't appreciate being told what to do, and you really do quite well on your own. Moving forward with your ideas will certainly lead to success and prosperity. 

The key to this reading is Death. You have to take the step and make the change. Sometimes the world we know is comfortable, and the change is hard to initiate. Even when it is chosen and you want the change, it can be really hard to actually do it. This idea that you are pondering will change your life altogether. Right now, you know what to expect and there is some comfort to that. The key right now is that nothing will be the same after this. And even if you are ready to make this change, you may experience a sense of loss when you move onto your new life.The key is doing it anyway.  

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have been planning something for a very long time. You have a lot of lists and ideas. You are excited about your plan. But you haven't taken them out of the planning stage. Once you do, it looks like it will be met with success. The right people will respond well to your ideas and your message,and this will lead to success. You will be prosperous and will be able to do things your way. Which is what you have always wanted- you don't need someone looking over your shoulder to make sure that you are working. You are passionate and excited. The hard part here is that first step. It's hard to take something out of the planning stage, because there is always a chance at failure. It can be scary.  It's hard to move forward and you may be stalling a bit. If you had guarenteed success for your ideas, would you take the step forward? The change is something that you want, but this doesn't make the initial steps any easier. If you move forward, you will be successful and prosperous. Time to take a step.
