Happy March to the friends of Iris X Readings! I am back from a lovely vacation to Isla Mujeres, and ready to schedule readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who it will be for until I post it. Sometimes, it's for one person. The reading begins with The Star. This is a card of healing and relief. If this is your reading, you have been through a challenging time; and now the weight is lifting and you can breathe again. What was frozen is slowly thawing, and you are able to feel for the first time in a while. Along with this comes your inspiration and creativity. You find yourself feeling enchanted at times, and at other times like you are doing what you need to do to heal and recover.
The II of Wands comes up next, showing you in a position to make plans for the future. This is a time to pause and assess where you are and where you are looking to go. This is a card of choice that leads to organization. There are times when you are really motivated for the future and feeling very goal oriented. On those days, look at the world- where have you been? Where do you still want to go? What will you do with your future now that you are moving on from what caused you such harm?
Other times, you feel apathetic. The IV of Cups shows you feeling guarded and lost at times. You are trying to re-engage in the world, and sometimes you feel like you can't do it. People try to talk to you and you are not sure you want to engage. Things that would normally interest you are not getting your attention. You are drawing lines and boundaries, and sometimes this goes further than you want it to. There are days that you feel like you still can't feel anything.
The key to the week is the III of Pentacles- the card of mediation and cooperation. Perhaps some time with people that can help you see things in a new way is in order. It's possible that you are being hard on yourself, or expecting to feel better right away. Sometimes, a middle ground is the best way to go. Taking in the perspectives and ways of other people may be helpful to you right now.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have been through a very challenging time. Everything fell apart, and now- things are starting to get better. You are starting to heal and find your way again. There are days that you are full of ideas and plans, and then.. sometimes you just don't want to do anything at all. It's not a good time to push yourself too hard. Talk to people around you, gain new perspectives, and see if you can find a middle ground. Compromise with yourself a bit. It's ok if you are on some days and off on others. Go with your own flow as you are healing and starting to feel better. This is all a process, and you have to spend some days in silent recovery and other days in active planning for the future. Neither direction is a bad right now; and a mixture of the two ways may really help. Don't expect yourself to heal faster than you are able to. Let your mood lead your day- and it's ok if there are days that you just don't feel like you want to do anything. You are healing on those days too.
