Good Morning and Happy Moon day to the friends of Iris X readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask them for a reading for someone who will read this post. I never know who it will be until it is posted! This week's reading was done on the Herbcrafters Tarot.
The week begins with The Empress/Rose, and if this is your reading, you are creating something new and growing it. This could be a project, passion, or business. It is something of your own, and you feel proud of what you have created. You are in a time period of nourishing and helping what you have grown to become the best it can be. You have a lot of power right now to grow what you want into something that is long lasting.
The IX of Fire/Wild Cherry comes up next. You may be feeling defensive of what is yours right now. You are trying to keep everyone away, feeling like you have to do things on your own for them to go well. You are not giving yourself a break and you are pushing yourself really hard. It is beginning to take a toll on you and it is time to rest and let someone help you.
The VII of Earth/Oak wraps up the week with a reminder to be patient. You can't grow something faster than it grows. You have to plant the seeds and wait for them to come to fruition. If you focus on what you are doing and plant seeds and then take the time that you need to nourish them, you are likely to be successful. It can be easy to get pulled into wanting to rush the process and make things move quicker, but that is not the way that things work. You have to put in the time and effort to make things grow.
The key to the week is Nine of Water/Peach. This is a card of satisfaction and happiness. It is about looking at what you have, and although you do not have All that you want, you have quite a lot. With the 9 of Water key to the reading, you are advised to be grateful for where you are, and to appreciate the growth that you have had. This is also the card of making a wish or starting work on accomplishing a goal or intention. Ask for what you want- it's the only way it will happen- be clear!
Here's what I see. You have a project or passion that you are creating and focusing your time and energy on. You are at the beginning stages, and you are feeling defensive. You feel nervous when you see how well other people are doing who are working on similar goals. You have felt isolated and off on your own. But you can't make things move faster than they will. You have to be patient. Plant seeds, and then wait for them to grow. Look at where you are and how far you have come, and feel good about that. Don't compare yourself to other people, you have a different journey to walk. Instead focus your energy on where you are looking to grow, and be grateful for the growth that you have had. You have all signs towards positive growth here- the hardest card in this reading is the 9 of Fire- your defensiveness. Let your guard down, and go along for the ride. Don't try to push progress, be comfortable with where you are and where you are going.
